FLYING MACHINES

Maya | Photoshop

An uncolored P-40 Warhawk, made in Autodesk Maya. I'm a big fan of fighter planes, especially WWII models, and enjoyed modeling this using P-40 orthographic views I found online.
A stylized little flying machine. Though obviously unlikely to actually stay in the air, I thought it would be fun to invent a little vehicle, so essentially made a turbine engine and placed wings on it.
I actually made this last flying machine as my first project in my Introduction to 3D modeling course. It's a Ford Model T converted into a helicopter, and my first exposure to texture mapping and manual lighting.
