SPH Fluid Solver
My C++ fluid solver using the Smooth-Particle Hydrodynamics model. Takes into account fluid density and viscosity in a Lagrangian paradigm. This is currently accelerated only by a uniform grid, which is itself indexed by a z-order curve for memory coherence. In the final shot, grid cells are colored based on memory address to demonstrate that cells side-by-side in space are also side-by-side in memory.
Another Houdini excercize to familiarize myself with the concepts of fluid simulation before getting to work on my own solver. It is meant to replicate the elevator scene in The Shining.
